I’m Nisha, a disciple of Jesus Christ with a heart to make Him known.
Jesus is at the center of every chapter of my life, even when my heart was far from Him. My purpose is to help others come to know Him through the way I love, serve, and show up each day. My heart’s desire is for my everyday life to reflect His glory here on Earth.
Along the way, I’ve worn a few different hats. I’m a mother of three daughters, a grandmother to two, a dog mom, a cat mom, a U.S. Air Force veteran, entrepreneur, real estate investor, microloctician, and author.
As a microloctician, I specialize in installing and maintaining microlocs for women. I pour a lot of love into my clients and welcome opportunities to minister when they arise naturally. Nothing forced, just a heart to care for the woman in my chair.
My story holds love, loss, healing, and a few new beginnings. Through it all, His grace continues to carry me. This is where I share a little of that journey with you.

My Younger Self?

I’m honored to share my story in this anthology of real women, powerful stories, and timeless wisdom. My chapter is a reflection on faith, love, healing, and being aligned with God.

A few words from my chapter
The weekend after I moved to Baltimore it snowed. I thought I was moving to the south where snow never touched the ground. Boy was I wrong. So as any new homeowner, I was out there shoveling like crazy. It was during that moment that Steve happened to glance out of his front window, saw me bundled up with a hood on, face barely exposed, that he heard a voice say, “This is going to be your wife”. What he didn’t realize then was that the voice he heard was God. Even now, I still close my eyes and replay the moment Steve told me this story. I imagine the gentle soft voice of God and how it must have felt to experience Him setting destiny in motion.
